I thought the nitrogen tire inflation system (NitroFill) was another “automotive gimmick”. Even after several discussions and reading the NitroFill brochure I was still somewhat apprehensive to try it. However, you convinced me to try it. It was very difficult to determine normal city driving that there was an appreciable difference in the ride, mileage, and tire wear. My 2001 Volvo V70 Wagon has always been a very comfortable and smooth riding vehicle. It wasn’t until I took a trip to Vero Beach, Florida recently that I got a big surprise. I decided to calculate the highway mpg driving down and back. On my trip to Vero Beach I got 32 mpg and on my return trip 30 mpg. I was very surprised at the mileage since the original invoice on my 2001 Volvo V70 Wagon estimates highway mileage at 27mpg and city mileage to be 20 mpg. No doubt NitroFill had something to do with the great fuel efficiency. Even considering a 5% error rate in the actual mileage calculations still would give me a higher mpg than the original estimates. I am now a firm believer that the NitroFill was a leading factor in the great mileage and smooth highway ride I got on my trip to Florida.
